Learning the Akkusativ

Posted: February 15, 2013 in Uncategorized

Hi there,
This one is about the use of the accusative (Akkusativ) with the definite and the indefinite article. There is  an interesting exercise where students have to distinguish it from the nominative (Nominativ). We have worked these exercises in 2 ESO.

BIOMES

Posted: February 15, 2013 in Uncategorized

Hi!!!!

5th A & B have finished their mini-project 2 about BIOMES. What do you know about them? As the title of our GOTCHA project is ‘El Motor del Mundo’ we have been working on what we can find in our planet and have learnt some vocabulary. We had to visualize a biome (desert, tundra, mountain, ocean or grassland) and write down as many words as the ‘picture’ suggested us; not only objective words, such as ‘sand’ but also colours, feelings, smells and sensations. Try to do the same with any picture you have; you’ll be surprised with the amount of words you can find. Here you are some photos.

See you soon!!!

Food and Nutrition!

Posted: February 15, 2013 in Uncategorized

Hi everyone,

In 4ºEP we have been studying food and nutrition. I set them a project about changing eating habits through history starting with pre-history, then the medieval times and contemporary periods, and finishing with today.  the students are working better in groups now and enjoyed doing the project.
