Hello, everyone!!!!

Here we are again. During these last weeks we’ve been working on our term project: Our Solar System. We are learning about every single planet, moons, asteroids and, of course, our star, the Sun. We’re making models and we are having a lot of fun. Here you are some photos while working. We’ll let you know when we finish to show you our great work!

Hi everyone,
Here are some more ideas for the science show. All of them are plant ideas except one that is about making molecules out of lego.

Learning History!

Posted: March 19, 2014 in FUNNY ACTIVITIES

Hi everyone,

This year the Olympics in the school are related to the different periods of our history and the Medieval Times is the one chosen for 3rd Primary. For this reason, during this month our group is going to do several activities about Medieval Times and we have started with a talk given by 4th ESO students.  The students prepared it really well and they also included some activities, our 3rd grade students learnt how to dance as in the medieval times too!

Here you have some pictures!

Linking Words

Posted: March 19, 2014 in FUNNY ACTIVITIES

Hello everyone,

My group has been working on connectors the last few weeks. They are also called linking or transitional words. They are used to connect two words or sentences. There are plenty of them but I only saw the easiest ones such as, and, but, or, however, so. At this age the students should write different texts (notes, emails, notices, etc.) properly so that connectors are very useful.

Here you are a link with some examples.

Enjoy it!

Audio Files

Posted: March 19, 2014 in INTERESTING WEBSITES

Hi everyone,

In the following website teachers or students may enter a text and the application will convert the written words into an MP3 audio file that might be downloaded. It might be used to repeat vocabulary in class. I hope you give it a good use!

Animals in Danger

Posted: March 9, 2014 in INTERESTING WEBSITES

Hi everyone!
During this term our 3rd grade students are learning about animals in danger all over the world. So, our students have discovered some animals in danger of extinction, as for example, the panda or the blue whale. For this reason, I recommend you to visit this interesting website about endangered animals.
Hope you enjoy it!
