Revising Modal Verbs!

Posted: February 16, 2016 in GRAMMAR, Uncategorized

Hi everyone,
This week in 4 ESO we are studying the modal verbs that express probability.
I found this pdf with a lot of different conspiracy theories and the students had to use the modal verbs
depending on weather they believed these statements are true or not.

Then, they will choose one of the conspiracy theories and create a keynote presentation with secret images or videos.
It’s a topic that gives plenty to talk about. 😉

Enjoy it!

Hi everyone,

This week we have been revising Conditional Sentences and our Y12 students have created some posters to revise key points on conditional Sentences. Here you have!

Enjoy them!

Passive Voice Revision

Posted: February 7, 2016 in GRAMMAR, Uncategorized

Hello everyone 🙂

We’ve been reviewing the passive voice with the students in 1 Bac. They have prepared in small groups an e-book explaining it and providing examples. They have used the App Book Creator, which is free. I hope you’ll like it 😉

Have fun!

Infinitive or Gerund?

Posted: January 22, 2016 in GRAMMAR, Uncategorized

Hi everyone,

This week I’m teaching those verbs that are followed by an infinitive or a gerund. It’s usually kind of boring giving them from the beginning a long list of verbs, so I’ve done this activity as a warm up and it worked pretty well.
I hope you like it.

PASSIVE VOICE REVISION

Posted: January 14, 2016 in GRAMMAR

Hi everyone!

In order to practice the passive voice in English, I’ve found a fun card game.
Students are divided in groups and pick one card each. They have to complete the question
using the passive voice and the rest of the team must name three things that belong to that category.
I hope you enjoy it!
