“Like” vs “As”

Posted: March 4, 2015 in Uncategorized

Hello everyone!
This week we’ve been wondering what the difference between “like” and “as” was. Do we say: I dressed as a monkey for the fancy dress party …. Or is it: I dressed like a monkey for the fancy dress party. A good discussion was triggered around this example and students had their own views on the matter. If you are still thinking about the answer, then you’d better have a look at this website:

Crystal clear 🙂

All best,
