Greenhouse Activity

Posted: March 8, 2014 in SCIENCE

Hi everyone
Here are a couple of photos from the Greenhouse activity. We now have very lush green lettuce ready to eat. The students tried some of the organic leaves and loved the flavour. We do have some little beastly caterpillars though:( I have been showing the students how to look for them under the leaves and pluck them off.

Enjoy it!

Interesting Videos

Posted: March 8, 2014 in INTERESTING WEBSITES
Hi folks,
I want to share with you an incredible resource bank of videos on youtube. This is the link:
It’s published by MacMillan Education.
I also want to remind you the tip to download a video from youtube in a very easy way:
Just delete the “www.” from the web address and add “ss” instead. A new webpage will appear and you only have to choose the format you prefer (I always go for the MP4 one).
And that’s it. I hope it helps.

Hello everyone!
W-in 2 eso we’ve been working on the script for a video about Romans and Egyptians. They got a short that only had soundtrack but no speaking. What they had to do was to write the script for the short. Today we’ve watched them in class and they were great! I send a couple of photos, just look at the heir faces 🙂

Have fun!
